Accessibility statement

This site is built to the standard we sell.

Conformance target. This site is designed to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We test it the same way we test customer sites: automated rules on every build, screen-reader runs with NVDA and VoiceOver, and keyboard-only runs, before each release.

Measures

  • Semantic HTML with landmarks, a skip link and a logical heading order on every page
  • Text and control contrast of at least 4.5:1 and 3:1 respectively, measured on rendered colours
  • Visible focus on every interactive element; no keyboard traps
  • Forms with programmatic labels, error messages announced to assistive technology, and no time limits
  • Motion limited to short transitions, disabled when a reduced-motion preference is set
  • Text that reflows to a single column at 320 CSS pixels without horizontal scrolling

How this site was last tested

Automated rules (axe-core 4.10, WCAG 2.0 to 2.2 A and AA plus best practice) run on every page with zero violations at the last release, together with keyboard-only passes and checks at 375 CSS pixels wide. A full screen-reader pass with NVDA and VoiceOver is scheduled before public launch, and its results will be published here.

Known limitations

  • The data tables on the home, agencies and compare pages scroll sideways on narrow screens. They can be scrolled with the keyboard, but reading a whole row needs horizontal scrolling.
  • The sample evidence report on the home page shows a short "checking" animation on one item. It is skipped when your system asks for reduced motion, and the final state is announced once.

If you find another barrier, it is a defect and we will fix it.
